Is there a way to go into clients and add past metrics from past check ins (like measurements and weight)?

The process is simple indeed. Just going to their Metrics section, you will be able to find a search bar where you can look up the exact metric to be entered. 

Then, you just click where it says 'View Full History' (important to note, this button will appear if enough entry points have been added). If there are just  one or two, you can still add your client's data, just click on 'Add History'.

Once you're in the full history section, just click the green button 'Add History' to the right of your screen. 

Not all of the progress metrics can be added like this, so we always recommend watching the videos mentioned above in the 'Transfer Data' for more information, on other metrics. 

That's it, super simple!
